Control or protection?

In the land of boyfriends, girlfriends, partners, and relationships there seems to be a few blurred lines. Loving beyond boundaries is one of them. One that has sprung to mind is the difference between control and protection. At the same time, most people often get sidetracked when they fall in love so sometimes trying to tell the difference in a relationship of the others intentions. These are proven to be difficult. A difference between someone who is trying to control you and one who wants to protect you are: Control Control isn’t about freedom. It’s about keeping bird in a cage and trying to stop it flying. Is treating a loved one as if they have no rights and they are in charge of them. Authority over one in order to give oneself the boost by having someone beneath them. Trying to physically stop you doing things you enjoy doing…

Do Lolita’s really exist?

Vladimir Nabokov formulated a novel which consisted of a narrative of a thirty nine year old literary teacher – Humbert Humbert (who’d previously had a compulsion for young girls, referred to as Nymphets) which were young girls who’d he would find being sexually captivating. He had now become obsessed with his twelve year old step daughter- Dolores ‘Lolita ‘Hayes; Technically, he a paedophile and an innocent young girl. Yet, Reading the novel, it had become clear that this man wasn’t right in the mind. I mean, clearly this isn’t normal behaviour to feel this way about a young girl, young enough to be his daughter. I believe his emotional psychology of the fact his relationship in his youth had made him this way. He loved a girl to a great extent then lost her. This planted an emotional disfigurement in his psyche which he encrusted with him through to adulthood.…

Mr, Mrs and Miss All or nothing.

All or nothing is an important term we should all live by. We should headline a boundary for ourselves before we enter a relationship. This should be the first we should title. It’s important the other knows you cannot cherry pick who you are, you make could be a person who is great company at their best and a bit withdrawn when they get down, but it’s important to let them know- when they want the good they must accept the bad-its all or nothing!. There was a situation I had heard of where a man, didn’t want to be fully committed in his current relationship so had taken some time out. Met a new girl and fell in love. The new girl girl had wanted more, but knowing that he couldn’t fully commit in the way she wanted, he had offered the invitation for her to be ‘ friends’.…
