Coffee is great. Coffee is amazing. Coffee is life.

I may be a slight fan of coffee. It is one of my only sins and I indulge myself mercilessly with the dark, silky smooth beverage. Living in London, my addiction to coffee has only grown, alongside my exposure to countless incredible, gorgeous cafes. Check out the list below for some amazing cafes to sample.

1. Attendant

Happy Thursday! Here's a quick solution to help you get through the final step of the week. See you soon.

Two locations in London (one in a refurbished Victorian toilet), Attendant provides amazing coffee (particularly the iced latte). The decor is funky, with a penchant for deep green, which nicely offsets original features of the converted toilet. The staff are super friendly and the cakes are mouth-watering.

Soho / Shoreditch

2. Electric Coffee Co.

Quirky staff and silky coffee, Electric Coffee Co. is a great find in the suburban hub of Ealing. Their iced latte, coupled with a pastry (if you can choose just one) is a drool-worthy selection. Come here with a friend and have a chit-chat, or bring a book and disappear for a while.

3. Caravan

Eclectic and fun, Caravan is a great place to come and chill with friends. They offer food alongside coffee, but it is their coffee that stands out. Smooth and rich, their cappuccino is one of the best out there.

King’s Cross / Clarkenwell / Bankside

4. Ozone Coffee

Very trendy and modern (think exposed brick and plumbing), Ozone is Kiwi-owned and a great hit in East London. Their cappuccino is silky, and their gorgeous offering of food is delicious.

Shoreditch

5. Workshop

Workshop is a sophisticated cafe, serving exquisite coffee. The staff are lovely and immediately put you at ease. A fantastic place to sit and be quiet, with a book or a laptop. They also supply coffee to High Grade, a coffee stand in Brick Lane.

Marylebone / Holborn / Fitzrovia

6. Kaffeine

An independent cafe, owned by an Aussie and a Kiwi, Kaffeine knows how to serve great coffee. Walking in, your eyes roam the wide selection of cakes and salads and baguettes. I can’t help you on the food front, but their cappuccino is particularly yummy.
